Deborah Allen-Segal

Deborah Allen-Segal was a participant in the very first Insight Seminar in January of 1978.  She was so enthused by her experience, that she left her then acting career to pursue her dream of becoming a lead facilitator for the advanced and graduate Insight Seminars.  Deborah fulfilled this dream in 1981 becoming a full time facilitator.

In 1983 Deborah became Enrollment Director for Insight California as well.  Her true love for facilitating took her on the road to many locations around the world. 

Currently, while still facilitating adult seminars on occasion,  Deborah’s primary interest for the past 10 years has been to work and be with the teenagers, the promise of the future.  She has taken special interest in the education and hearts of children of all ages, and has worked extensively with children with learning differences and disabilities.

Deborah is also a facilitator for Peace Theological Seminary, having received a Masters in Spiritual Science.  She is currently five years into a doctorate program in Spiritual Science.

Deborah’s previous education includes attendance at The New England Conservatory of Music and she is a graduate of the American Academy of Dramatic Arts based in New York City.  She appeared in numerous off-Broadway productions as well as soap operas and commercials.

Deborah enjoys fundraising for schools and organizations dedicated to the upliftment of the human Heart.  She lives in the hills of Tarzana, CA with her husband of 20 years and their 2 children and loves to play tennis when knees permit!
