Barbara Knight-Meyers

Dr. Barbara Knight-Meyers has served with Insight Seminars since 1985, where she has been a lead facilitator since 1987. She brings to her work a clarity, warmth, depth and humor that recognizes and calls forward the unique gifts within each individual. Dr. Knight-Meyers has been responsible for the design and facilitation of numerous Insight workshops and seminars, including The Insight Relationship Seminar, Deepening in the Heart, and The Authentic Heart.

Licensed in the state of Pennsylvania as a Counseling Psychologist, Dr. Knight-Meyers has been in private practice for the past 24 years, working with individuals, couples, families and groups.  Her specialties include relationship skill enhancement, wholeness through healing, couples counseling, and psychotherapy within a context of practical spirituality.

As an educational consultant, Dr. Knight-Meyers draws upon her experience in the design and facilitation of classes in counseling skills, inter-personal effectiveness, and stress reduction at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education, Pennsylvania College of Podiatric Medicine, and Hahnemann Medical College Psy.D. program.

Dr. Knight-Meyers holds a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology, conferred with distinction from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.Ed. in Group Dynamics and Psychoeducational Process from Temple University.  She is involved in the American Psychological Association, The Association for Humanistic Psychology, and the Association for Transpersonal Psychology.
